Imagine that the first rehearsal of your new orchestral composition is about to begin. You're confident, yet nervous. Orchestra players greet you. The maestro cordially shakes your hand, then gets down to business within a matter of seconds. You quickly take your seat in the hall as the orchestra begins to play your work.

But a minute later the orchestra stops playing and the clarinetist asks the conductor a question about the notation of measure 47. After some discussion, the conductor turns and asks you for clarification. Another minute of directions and pencil scribbling, and then the music resumes. But three minutes later the trombones enter too early. The conductor asks to play this section again, and the trombones repeat their early entrance. People look your way; the maestro asks the librarian to come to the stage, and the next 5 minutes are spent determining what is wrong with the trombone parts. Some musicians begin chatting amongst themselves. The orchestra manager glances at the clock.
Who prepared your score and parts?

So little time is devoted to rehearsing new music. You can't afford to submit materials which don't measure up.

You can't rely on the notation software alone to produce truly professional scores and parts.

My goal is to provide a product that is extraordinarily accurate, clear and legible, with abundant cues and intelligent page turns. As I work on your music you can depend on me to identify any notation that might confuse a performer and to provide suggestions for its improvement. My well-prepared materials will allow musicians to focus on performing your music, not on a less-experienced copyist's mistakes. You will hear the difference.
