A non-binding estimate will be offered for descriptions of music not yet fully composed. If a work is fully composed, please send a photocopy, Acrobat PDF file or Enigma Transfer File for a firm bid. Estimates are always provided at no cost.
I will be happy to work with you to accommodate your schedule and deadline(s). If you have a “rush job,” please contact me for my availability.
At your request, photocopies, Acrobat PDF files, or Enigma Transfer Files of your scores will be sent for your review. Before a job begins we will discuss whether or not you wish to proofread your score and parts. Regardless of your preference, you will be asked to approve the score I send you before I begin extracting the parts. If a score already exists and I am asked to make parts only, they too will be made available for your review.
50% of the labor estimate is required before work begins. The remaining 50% will be billed after the originals are shipped to you, a music reproduction service or your publisher. Final payment is expected upon receipt of the bill. Post-performance revisions are considered a separate job. There is never a charge for the correction of my mistakes.
The costs of photocopying, binding, Zip disk(s) and shipping are not included in the hourly labor rate. You are under no obligation to ask me to provide photocopying and binding. Copies of all receipts will always be available.
